Choices that make each day delightful
Connection, engagement, purpose – check, check, check. Each day, you’ll find curated opportunities to explore new interests, express your creativity and share your talents and experience with others.
Programs are thoughtfully planned to fully support eight dimensions of engagement – or quality-of-life attributes – essential to the well-being of all people, regardless of age: spiritual, occupational, environmental, emotional, intellectual, physical, social and creative.
Nurture your intellect and curiosity with on-site continual learning programs available through our partnership with Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UC Berkeley.

The Eight Dimensions of Engagement
Programs at our community are thoughtfully planned to support eight quality-of-life attributes – or dimensions of engagement – essential to the well-being of all people, regardless of age.
These dimensions are collectively represented by a “cairn” – rough stones stacked in a balanced, interdependent way to create a landmark to help find one’s way and stay on course.
Click each cairn to learn more about each of The Eight Dimensions of Engaement.
