For anyone struggling with the decision to move their loved one into assisted living/memory care, let me share this: Brookridge has brought so much unexpected joy and comfort to my mother and our family. The narrative with my aging parents was to avoid assisted living at all costs; however, when my mom got diagnosed with moderate to late stage FTD (dementia), we realized that she was not living her best life with her children as caregivers. We ended up moving her into Brookridge in December 2025 and it has been the greatest gift for all of us. From Lindsay easing our worries when we toured/moved in, to Kim, Heidi, Morgan, Ashley, Max and all the other wonderful memory care staff making my mom feel so loved and cared for on a daily basis, we could not be happier. Brookridge is simply the best and we will be forever grateful.

My family and I are so pleased with my Mom's choice of Brookridge Heights Assisted Living. Nearly everyone we've been in contact with has been extraordinarily patient and accommodating with my mom, and with us. The environment is calm & clean and the staff truly seem to enjoy the residents. And then, of course, there is Lindsay! She's the best! I was so nervous and unsure about the whole process (particularly because we don't live in Michigan) but she made it all manageable and even FUN (and that's saying a LOT)!! My mom has been there for just over a month and a half now, and although it's been a big adjustment, every time I speak with her on the phone, she is breathless with some recent story or another. As her new 92- year old friend remarked while we were visiting - "It may not be home exactly, but it's the next best thing." That really stuck with me. I liked her honesty.
