Situated on 16-plus acres in a park-like setting, Anchor Bay at Pocasset is a bright, warm senior living community located near Rhode Island Hospital, Providence Place Mall, fine dining at Federal Hill, as well as Downtown Providence, and Johnston Memorial Park. Wake up every day in a safe, intentionally designed living space. We tend to the cooking, housekeeping and home maintenance so you can participate in social, cultural and exercise programs including happy hours, walking clubs and seasonal crafts. Choose from a menu of seasonal, nutritious, chef-prepared dishes in the dining room.

Enjoy discreet, supportive care, a maintenance-free lifestyle including scheduled transportation, and boutique amenities. Spend every day living fully and experiencing greater well-being.

Well-Being

Our Philosophy

We believe a thoughtfully designed environment filled with good neighbors and a caring staff, along with nutritious food, accessible exercise programs and opportunities to connect and engage every day, are the right combination for optimal living.

For older people living alone, these important elements can become harder to maintain – making home a challenging, unsafe, even lonely place to be.

That’s why we offer a community for older people where living is easier, surroundings are safer – and together is better.

Such a wonderful community! The committed team members work together for the benefit of the residents and to provide them with a wonderful place to live. The community is bright and cheerful, with natural light pouring in everywhere, displaying... beautiful areas of nature and manicured outdoor spaces. Creative and engaging experiences are offered in both Assisted Living and Memory Support, much to the delight of the residents.read more

My parents, Bob and Cecile, have been part of the Anchor Bay community for two years, and frequently mention how happy they are there, how well they are being treated, and how careful everyone there was during the pandemic. Thank you!

My mom is happily engaged daily with exercise opportunities, word games, entertainers, seasonal field trips, films and new friends. Shout out to Dan, Genevieve, Juliana, Sam and Leandro. I enjoy seeing your posts on FaceBook

From what I can see, it seems to be a pretty nice place compared to a lot of other assisted living facilities I have seen around Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I visited only briefly in January of 2022, place seems clean no odd smells, residents... seem relatively happy.read more

Love working here....is has given me a real sense of accomplishment and pride to have been working here the past year. The residents are definitely a top reason that i go into work, every single day, with a smile. Then add in my fellow co workers... and upper management and it creates a work atmosphere that one could only hope for! With Paul, Matt, n Calvin in the kitchen, Nate and 2 Michele's in housekeeping, Courtney And Denise in sales, Sheryl Dawn, Jen, and Steph @the front desk, and Robin n Kim in the office, and all other staff i have the privilege working with....makes it all worth it! This place has helped me grow as a person in so many ways, and I'll always I consider myself blessed and very lucky to have had the chance 2 work here.read more
