How do I know if this community can meet my care needs?

A licensed nurse on our staff will perform an assessment to determine if we can meet your care needsIf the assessment determines that our community is not appropriate for your needs, we will recommend other options. Contact us to learn more.  

How much does it cost to live at this community?

Apartments are private-pay with month-to-month rental terms. No “buy-in” fee is required. Click on the “Pricing” tab above for current rental rates. The rental rate includes housekeeping, linen services, maintenance, meals, events, and scheduled transportation. Care services come at an additional monthly rate based on the nature of the services, the time required to perform them, and the qualifications of the person providing themContact us for details on care rates. 

Do you require a security deposit or other fees?

Yes, a security deposit and a new resident service fee are charged to offset one-time costs associated with move-in. Contact us for details. 

Can I bring my own furnishings to my apartment?

Yes. Apartments are unfurnished, so bring what you like and add your personal touches to make your apartment your own. Note that certain items like hot plates are not permitted for safety reasons. If you want to make sure a specific item will fit in in the apartment you choose, contact us for specific room dimensions 

Are pets allowed?

Yes. All required vaccinations and licensing must be current. Contact us for applicable fees, size and temperament requirements 

Is smoking permitted?

No. We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all residents and employeesContact us for details 

What if I have a medical emergency?

An emergency call system or wearable device is available to all residents. Employees are on-site 24/7/365 to respond, offer assistance and call emergency services if needed. 

What kind of programs and events do you offer?

Do you offer accessible transportation?

Scheduled transportation by car or wheelchair accessible bus is included in the monthly rental rate. Contact us for details.  

Is assisted living tax-deductible?

You may be eligible for certain deductions on your federal tax return depending on the types of services and the level of care you require. Click on the “Family Resources” tab above, then scroll to “Financial Planning” to learn more. You can also speak with your financial advisor for additional information. 

Is senior living the same as a nursing home?

No. Senior living includes a range of options for older adults, such as “independent living,” “assisted living,” “supportive living” and “memory support.” It can include services and amenities like dining, housekeeping, transportation, engagement programs, and help with daily tasks like medication reminders, bathing and grooming, incontinence care, and escorting to and from meals and events.  

Senior living means a residential community offering hospitality services, amenities, and discreet help with daily tasks if needed. A nursing home is a medical institution that provides more advanced medical care and skilled nursing services.
