Picked up a client.

I just recently moved my mother into Locust Grove Memory Care. Everyone including Michael Koons was welcoming and hands on. This is very refreshing that the Executive Director is out and about. He is accommodating and approachable. He is always checking on everything, the staff, the residents, the activities, and much, much more. Each time I visit my mother she is adjusting slowly, her smiles are more frequent, she's talking more to the other residents and staff. Recently, they had a Steelers tailgate party outside with all kinds of food, Steely McBeam, music, and all kind of decorations. All the residents, including my mother was having a wonderful time. The Activity staff deserves a huge KUDOS! This facility is a blessing to know they are hands on and truly care.

I have been to many nursing homes visiting friends and family for years and have found Locust Grove in West Mifflin to be the best. Every time I’ve been there I see workers from the upper management to the maintenance and cleaning staff and everyone is very kind and respectful. They all seem to be genuinely good, caring people. I have to attribute that to Mike the manager and his hiring practices. These kinds of staff people aren’t everywhere. You have to carefully choose who you hire. This process requires a great deal of effort and dedication to get it right. One more thought is when talking to the residents they say they would recommend Locust Grove to their friends and family and they are living it every day. I think that’s the best recommendation.
