Situated on several acres, Locust Grove is a quiet, residential senior living community located near The Waterfront and Kennywood Amusement Park as well as AHN Jefferson Hospital, UPMC McKeesport, and UPMC Mercy. In this secure, intentionally designed community with boutique amenities, residents receive individualized support from staff, and enjoy seasonal, nutritious, chef-prepared dishes in the company of their neighbors. Additional services include housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and scheduled transportation to appointments and group outings.

With meaningful opportunities for connection and specially designed engagement programs such as exercise, arts and crafts, music therapy and faith-based services, residents can experience greater well-being – and their families can experience greater peace of mind.

Our Philosophy

We believe a thoughtfully designed environment filled with good neighbors and a caring staff, along with nutritious food, accessible exercise programs and opportunities to connect and engage every day, are the right combination for optimal living.

For older people living alone, these important elements can become harder to maintain – making home a challenging, unsafe, even lonely place to be.

That’s why we offer a community for older people where living is easier, surroundings are safer – and together is better.

My parents are both residents of Locust Grove. It is unfortunate that we have been locked out since March, but they have done an amazing job keeping all the resident safe. Not one case of Covid!! They continue to come up with new ways for... family to visit at a 6ft distance and try to keep everyone active during the day – sitting on the patio, holding sing-alongs, playing games, etc. While they can’t be with their blood families, they are receiving great care and love from their Locust Grove family – they have been our angles during this more
