Well-Being

Our Philosophy

We believe a thoughtfully designed environment filled with good neighbors and a caring staff, along with nutritious food, accessible exercise programs and opportunities to connect and engage every day, are the right combination for optimal living.

For older people living alone, these important elements can become harder to maintain – making home a challenging, unsafe, even lonely place to be.

That’s why we offer a community for older people where living is easier, surroundings are safer – and together is better.

Tranquility of Fredericktowne is a wonderful community! The entire team provides the residents with the kindest care with attention to the safety and health of each person. The community is clearly clean and sanitized thoroughly while being... located on well maintained grounds decorated beautifully. It is a pleasure to walk through the doors and feel the sense of being in a comfortable home each time I enter.read more

Since covid has precluded being able to visit with my mother in the facility, my review is based on my experiences prior to the restrictions and the more limited interactions with non-direct care staff during the covid quarantine. For the most... part, the majority of staff I have interacted with do their work competently and conscientiously. There are some staff who are exceptional in their concern and care for the residents. The facility is well kept and clean. I would normally give a 4 star rating since there have been some experiences that would preclude me from wanting to give the top rating. However, a higher rating is deserved given the extraordinary circumstances of having to do their job in the time of covid and the fact that there are those good people working there and they appear to have risen to the occasion.read more

I would volunteer and bring my dog Fifi to visit the residents every week. The residents loved my visits, and they loved seeing a friendly dog face every week. They seemed so happy, the caregivers and staff were so friendly, and I always felt like... everyone was taken care of here. Tranquility feels like a home to many.read more

I can not say enough good things about Tranquillity. The staff is friendly, helpful, fun, kind and most of all caring. The facility is clean and updated. I have also had the pleasure of eating a few meals in their dining room and the food is... delicious. I know a few people that live there and absolutely love it. I would highly recommend Tranquillity to anyone looking for an assisted living!!read more

Tranquillity is a warm, friendly, inviting place. Their care and concern for each resident is evident in their interaction with the residents.

Sent on behalf of Betty TabakaI have been a resident of Tranquillity at Fredericktown for almost 3 years. I commend the entire staff for providing a caring, engaging, and safe environment. The challenge asks that you identify specific staff who... have made a difference in your life at Tranquillity. For me that is impossible, I would be assured of omitting some very special person. Virtually every staff member, regardless of their individual role, has enriched my experience and showed caring, empathy, and attention to the “emotional” details, particularly during the pandemic. I live in the assisted living component of the facility, but this sentiment extends to the staff in the memory care unit as well. Although I don’t have constant contact with them, they greet me with smiles and encouragement on every engagement. The staff also has embraced my special needs grandson with open arms, nurturing his exuberance and encouraging his positive interaction with residents and staff. Kudos to the ENTIRE staff. The person to person touchpoints make all the difference and make this a special place to live! I trust this will count for more than “one” vote in the challenge.read more
