Well-Being

Our Philosophy

We believe a thoughtfully designed environment filled with good neighbors and a caring staff, along with nutritious food, accessible exercise programs and opportunities to connect and engage every day, are the right combination for optimal living.

For older people living alone, these important elements can become harder to maintain – making home a challenging, unsafe, even lonely place to be.

That’s why we offer a community for older people where living is easier, surroundings are safer – and together is better.

Tranquility of Fredericktowne is a wonderful community! The entire team provides the residents with the kindest care with attention to the safety and health of each person. The community is clearly clean and sanitized thoroughly while being... located on well maintained grounds decorated beautifully. It is a pleasure to walk through the doors and feel the sense of being in a comfortable home each time I enter.read more

Love the staff, each one of them takes excellent care of my father. It was a hard decision when our family made the decision to relocate our father., but it was the right decision. Not only did they do what they promised they did more than we... could've ever expected. It's not easy to please 4 demanding children but they do and its amazing how much all the staff show how much they love what they do.read more

The food, the people, and the attitude of everyone is great. The cleanliness is absolutely top-notch. I love the grounds, it's nice to look out my windows and enjoy the view. I get my hair cut, and they do a good job.

The attention the staff gives is excellent. They helped me set up video calls with my family during this year with the lockdowns. The food is good, I enjoy eating in the dining room. My room and the building are kept clean. The staff is friendly, ... and they do a good job.read more

While I do have some slight issues with some parts of Tranquility, overall, I think they do an excellent job. They're very clean, always on the ball with cleanliness. The staff clearly care, and do their best to make everyone feel at home. The... grounds are well-kept, the floors are nice and shiny. There's good places to walk, and a nice patio to sit out front. The staff and the residents are all nice and friendly. My cat is also treated very well, along with our other friend's cat, and our other dog friend. Pets are very well treated.read more

I enjoy spending with my friends who live here, my room and the grounds are nice. The activities I enjoy to participate in are fun. The food is good. Some of the former employees were not especially great, but some of the ones who work here now,... especially the activities assistant, who I call Timmy.read more

Since covid has precluded being able to visit with my mother in the facility, my review is based on my experiences prior to the restrictions and the more limited interactions with non-direct care staff during the covid quarantine. For the most... part, the majority of staff I have interacted with do their work competently and conscientiously. There are some staff who are exceptional in their concern and care for the residents. The facility is well kept and clean. I would normally give a 4 star rating since there have been some experiences that would preclude me from wanting to give the top rating. However, a higher rating is deserved given the extraordinary circumstances of having to do their job in the time of covid and the fact that there are those good people working there and they appear to have risen to the occasion.read more

I would volunteer and bring my dog Fifi to visit the residents every week. The residents loved my visits, and they loved seeing a friendly dog face every week. They seemed so happy, the caregivers and staff were so friendly, and I always felt like... everyone was taken care of here. Tranquility feels like a home to many.read more
