2507 Old Saint Augustine Rd,
Tallahassee, FL

Situated on a historic canopy road of majestic oak trees, St. Augustine Plantation is a warm, friendly, and relaxed senior living community located near Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, Capital Regional Medical Center and CRMC Urgent Care as well as Governor’s Square Mall, Midtown Shopping and Wakulla Springs. Wake up every day in a safe, intentionally designed living space. We tend to the cooking, housekeeping and home maintenance so you can participate in social, cultural and exercise programs including day trips, yoga and painting classes. Choose from a menu of seasonal, nutritious chef-prepared dishes in our main dining area or a more intimate setting in our private dining room with  friends and family.

Enjoy discreet, supportive care, a maintenance-free lifestyle including scheduled transportation, and boutique amenities. Spend every day living fully and experiencing greater well-being.

Our Philosophy

We believe a thoughtfully designed environment filled with good neighbors and a caring staff, along with nutritious food, accessible exercise programs and opportunities to connect and engage every day, are the right combination for optimal living.

For older people living alone, these important elements can become harder to maintain – making home a challenging, unsafe, even lonely place to be.

That’s why we offer a community for older people where living is easier, surroundings are safer – and together is better.

We had a great visit. Lunch was delicious. We have a family member who needs more care than we can provide at home. So we are looking at options.

I am currently a resident of this beautiful, caring, clean, comfortable facility. I am here because I needed a safe environment to heal from a fracture. My fracture required no weight bearing for ten weeks. I would not be safe at home while... recovering from my injury. The facility has provided excellent care in a nurturing, safe environment with plenty of opportunities for social interaction, meal and laundry services, TV and internet access.I find the staff compassionate and attentive to each resident's specific needs. The residents represent a variety of backgrounds, functional level and involvement in activities.I experienced how they handled two specific critical situations. One day the weather alarms of several residents warned of a tornado warning. The residents were instructed to move to the hallways away from windows. The staff including senior staff and adminitrator came around making sure everyone was accounted for and reassure them they were safe. The second situation involved a resident who owns a dog. The resident was admitted to the hospital. Staff members took care of the pet until the resident came back.I am glad to be able to go home tomorrow to complete my rehabilitation now that I can bear weight on my fractured leg.I have recommended the facility to a friend whose mom will soon need this level of care.I will return when the time comes for me to require these services.Thank you from the bottom of my heart for turning a very difficult situation into an adventure into the more

The Administration and the Staff are extraordinary and delightful to work with. We are confident when we refer families to St Augustine Plantation, that they will receive terrific care and have total satisfaction.

St. Augustine Plantation made a very hard and dark time in our lives a lot brighter. They took excellent care of our mother for the last six weeks of her life and were so accomadating and helpful. They worked with us every step of the way, and we... cannot express how much we appreciate all the great work the administration, nurses and aides put in. Thank you for being there for more
